नए साल की पूर्व संध्या यानी 31 दिसंबर को देशभर में ऑनलाइन फूड डिलीवरी सेवाओं पर भारी दबाव रहने की उम्मीद के बीच Zomato और Swiggy ने अपने डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स के लिए पayout और incentives बढ़ाने का ऐलान किया है। यह फैसला ऐसे समय में आया है, जब गिग वर्कर्स संगठनों ने देशव्यापी हड़ताल का आह्वान किया था।
हर साल की तरह इस बार भी न्यू ईयर ईव पर ऑनलाइन फूड ऑर्डर्स में जबरदस्त उछाल की संभावना है, लेकिन कम आय, असुरक्षित कामकाजी हालात और भुगतान व्यवस्था को लेकर नाराज डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स ने कंपनियों पर दबाव बना दिया।
गिग वर्कर्स हड़ताल पर क्यों हैं?
गिग वर्कर्स यूनियनों का कहना है कि ऐप-आधारित डिलीवरी प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर काम करने वाले लाखों कर्मचारियों को पर्याप्त मेहनताना नहीं मिल रहा। यूनियनों के अनुसार, बढ़ती महंगाई और लंबी शिफ्ट के बावजूद प्रति ऑर्डर मिलने वाली राशि में लगातार कटौती हुई है।
वर्कर्स की प्रमुख मांगों में शामिल हैं
न्यूनतम तय भुगतान, बिना कारण ऑर्डर रद्द होने पर जुर्माना न लगाना, तेज डिलीवरी के दबाव से सुरक्षा और सोशल सिक्योरिटी जैसी बुनियादी सुविधाएं। यूनियनों ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि 10-मिनट या अल्ट्रा-फास्ट डिलीवरी जैसे विकल्प डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स की जान जोखिम में डालते हैं।
Zomato ने क्या ऐलान किया?
Zomato ने न्यू ईयर ईव पर काम करने वाले डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स के लिए विशेष इंसेंटिव स्कीम लागू की है। कंपनी के अनुसार, 31 दिसंबर की शाम पीक ऑवर्स में प्रति ऑर्डर ₹120 से ₹150 तक की कमाई हो सकती है। पूरे दिन काम करने वाले पार्टनर्स के लिए कुल कमाई ₹3,000 तक पहुंच सकती है, जो ऑर्डर की संख्या और समय पर निर्भर करेगी।
इसके अलावा, कंपनी ने उस दिन ऑर्डर रिजेक्ट या कैंसिल करने पर लगने वाले जुर्माने में भी ढील देने की बात कही है, ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स ऑनलाइन बने रहें।
Swiggy ने कैसे बढ़ाया भुगतान?
Swiggy ने भी हड़ताल के असर को कम करने के लिए डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स के लिए हाई-डिमांड बोनस की घोषणा की है। कंपनी के मुताबिक, 31 दिसंबर और 1 जनवरी को मिलाकर डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स ₹10,000 तक की कमाई कर सकते हैं। न्यू ईयर ईव की शाम के पीक टाइम में अतिरिक्त बोनस और इंसेंटिव दिए जाएंगे।
Swiggy का कहना है कि यह कदम ग्राहकों को बिना रुकावट सेवा देने और डिलीवरी पार्टनर्स को बेहतर कमाई का अवसर देने के लिए उठाया गया है।
